New cross-state pipeline project proposed
February 14, 2018
A new 520-mile natural gas pipeline project is currently in an open season for new shipping contracts. The Permian to Katy Pipeline, a Sempra LNG & Boardwalk Pipeline Partners jointly developed project, would have a capacity of 1.7Bcfd to 2.25Bcfd. The pipeline would be 36” for most of its length, but increase to 42” inches near its terminus. The project is estimated to be in-service in the third quarter of 2020.
