Production in the Permian Basin Creates Demand for Additional Cross-Texas Pipelines

June 4, 2018 Posted in Industry News

The increasing value of oil has resulted in additional demand for pipelines to move oil and gas production from the Permian Basin to Houston and Corpus Christi.  This demand has resulted in several cross-Texas pipeline projects, including the Plains All American Pipeline from the Permian Basin to Corpus Christi, the Phillips 66 Gray Oak Pipeline from the Permian Basin to Corpus Christi, and the EPIC Crude pipeline.  Some companies also plan to reactivate pipelines that have not been used for several years to meet the demand of oil and gas producers.
