Smith County Commissioners in favor of speeding up timeline to Highway 71 Upgrades

Over the next 5-10 years, many improvements are planned to be made along U.S. 271 spanning across 7 counties. County commissioners are working towards speeding up the timeline for improvements. The total population impacted is more than 42,000 business and nearly 495,000 people
