Thank You for Joining Us at the 23rd Annual Texas Eminent Domain SuperConference

Barron, Adler Clough & Oddo attorneys Nicholas Laurent and Andrew York enjoyed meeting everyone at the 23rd Annual Texas Eminent Domain SuperConference last month where they provided the official conference welcome. The conference gave many Texas eminent domain practitioners an opportunity to gather and connect over a wide range of programming and networking opportunities.

A number of presentations shared different perspectives on the litigation and appraisal of past cases that will help guide many cases in the future. Reviewing the Devillier v. Texas case was particularly interesting because the U.S. Supreme Court handed down its opinion in the case just days before the conference. The conference also included a presentation on the use and functionality of Land id, a unique land mapping platform that can track floodplains, soils, and wetlands and other property assets.

Overall, attendees enjoyed the programming and getting to connect with other professionals in the eminent domain and condemnation field including attorneys, appraisers, engineers, and others.
